Hula hoop

For this quilt, I wanted to make something with big rings and a lot of negative space. At the time my daughter was taking hula hooping lessons, and so that also seemed to tie in nicely! I used Essex yarn-dyed linen for the background, and I had a bundle of Michael Miller Mirror Ball dots that I paired with coordinating solids for the rings.
